This week in the US we will celebrate Thanksgiving, so I thought it would be appropriate to express my gratitude to the indie/modern classical music community. First of all, I'd like to say thank you to everyone for all the hard work you have put into your music. I've heard so many incredibly creative pieces this year, and the world is richer for your contributions.
Secondly, I want to say thank you to those of you who have listened to my music and included it on your playlists. We all know the importance that has on getting our music in front of new fans. Thank you to those of you who have offered an encouraging word or a quick word of praise. It means a lot and helps me keep at it.
Finally, I'd also like to say a personal word of thanks to someone of who has helped me in specific ways as an artist. Johan Eckman has done so much for the community in general through promoting artists on his blog Sleepy Songs. For me in particular he has also taught me a lot about how to navigate the world of promotion as well as given me many production tips. Beyond that he has become an actual friend. I think that's a pretty rare thing online, but I'm grateful for it. Tack, Johan! There are a ton of other encouraging folks as well that I am afraid to mention lest I leave someone out. Thanks for stopping in your busy lives to read my blog and online posts. I wish you all a prosperous and musical 2020!
